What advice would you give someone just starting to play pool?

Have fun. This game has a lot of ups and downs. Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s just a game. But if you want to get better, practice, practice, practice. Anybody can get better if you study the game and practice until you get it. It won’t happen fast but it is always possible if you don’t quit.
